Amoxil, Generic name Amoxicillin.
This antibiotic comes from the penicillin group of drugs to help fight bacteria in the body. Amoxicillin can be used to treat a wide range of infections cause by bacteria including, ear infections, stomach ulcers, pneumonia, gonorrhea, bladder infections, E. Coli and salmonella infections.
Common Side Effects of Amoxil
- nausea, vomiting, stomach pain;
- vaginal itching or discharge;
- headache;
- swollen, black, or "hairy" tongue; or
- thrush (white patches or inside your mouth or throat).
