WorldExpressRx.com closed suddenly on March 21, 2004.

The controversial discount generic and brand name pharmacy broke new ground, slashing the prices for online pharmacy lines, when it opened in 2001. We are saddened to see the demise of a once great supplier.

We were informed that the owner of WorldExpressRx was charged with currency related issues which brought them into conflict with USA authorities and was therefore closed.

WorldExpressRx.com has been forced down. It was completely out of their control and there is nothing that can be done. All their assets have were frozen, servers shut down and merchant account closed.

During late May 2004 Drug Store Best Buys received notification that the World Express Rx website and domain have now been sold under the following notice:

OFFERED FOR SALE TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER

65,000 Customer Database and Domain Name of WorldExpressRx.com which brought in nearly $7,000,000 in sales in the last 12 months previous to March 21st, 2004


As you may be aware, March 21st WorldExpressRx.com, the significant online generic drug supplier was shut down. I have been authorized to solicit bids for the sale of the following company assets which will be sold in one lot:

A. The 65,000 name customer database. This database has never been rented or sold.

B. The domain name WorldExpressRx.com

WorldExpressRx.com supplied Cialis, Levitra, Meltabs and Viagra to many countries and specialized in Erectile Dysfunction medications to assist sufferers of impotency.

The other areas of World Express Rx product coverage included Propecia hair loss, Xenical and Lipitor weight loss and Vioxx and Celebrex pain mediation products. The product range included Bayer, Eli Lilly, Merck and Pfizer brand names, as well as generic brands manufactured for World Express Rx in India.
